PolicyTech releases newest version of Policy & Procedure Manager®
Policy & Procedure Manager 5.5 boasts new time-saving features
Rexburg, Idaho (NEWSWIRE) September 2, 2009: PolicyTech today announced the release of Policy & Procedure ManagerTM 5.5, an upgrade from version 5.1. Of chief importance to the upgrade is the introduction of the 'My Documents' feature. This feature appears on the Policy & Procedure Manager home page and allows users to sort documents by all of the policies and procedures in their workflow.
"This upgrade creates more convenience for the individual user," said Rob Tietjen, CEO of PolicyTech. "Policy & Procedure Manager users will have an easier time searching and managing their company documents so they can have more time to focus attention on other aspects of their work."
Other enhancements in Policy & Procedure Manager 5.5 include a status link in the 'My Documents' section that makes it simpler to watch the progress of documents throughout the automated workflow process. Also, the bulk edit tool has received further enhancements to aid in editing a large group of documents at once. Enhancements to the electronic signature tools will allow organizations using kiosks to better track employee use.
PolicyTech will offer refresher courses to train their existing clients on these new features. Additionally, PolicyTech offers free online demonstrations to anyone that would like to experience the latest version of Policy & Procedure Manager.

Upgrades will be performed after September 2, 2009. For those that are already on 5.1, upgrades can be performed by using the check for updates feature under the preferences tab.
